StanceOur mission statement

Anfachen stands for an open, democratic and diverse society. We stand up for the dignity of every person, for equal rights, for art and education for all and for the protection of nature and the climate. We oppose racism, antisemitism, right-wing extremism and every form of hostility towards people. We are non-profit, independent and transparent.

Those who support us share these values. We only accept donations, gifts, bequests and partnerships from people and companies who stand up for these values. Supporters have no influence on content, themes or jury.

Anfachen gGmbH is a non-profit company based in Hamburg. All funds go into our projects for art and culture, knowledge and education, nature and climate and equal rights. We work independently of political parties and funders.

Poster competitionAnfachen Award

An international competition for political posters, held every year since 2016 on a different theme. The winning designs are exhibited in public space. anfachenaward.de

We invite people to give or bequeath their land to us: a plot, a meadow, a garden, a piece of land. There we let biodiversity grow and create niches for plants and animals that counteract climate change.

Anfachen gGmbH takes responsible care of every site. Our team includes professionals in horticulture and landscape planning, and we all share a passion for nature and culture.

Nature conservation · HamburgFuxonauts

An environmental and climate group in Hamburg's Helenenviertel, initiated and organised by Anfachen. Together with the neighbourhood, it built a nesting wall for wild bees and planted for insects. Funded by the Hamburger Klimafonds and the Hamburger Klimaschutzstiftung. fuxonauts.de
